A great debut for Trigon Auctions

Wednesday evening at 20:51h the bidding on the final foal, Panam, ended with an American client securing the great grandson of Pialotta at € 24.000,-. Just minutes before, a fierce duel between 3 clients over 2 foals ended with investors from Canada placing the highest bid of the evening at € 66.500,- on Pardino VDL. Another American bidder bought Drummer 2000 Z for € 24.000,- and with Pagani N selling to Mexican clients at € 22.000,- and Idyli vd Bisschop moving to The Netherlands for € 20.000,- no less than 5 of the 13 foals made € 20.000,- and more.

The overall average ended being € 19.115,- with a total turnover of € 248.500,- and all foals making their minimum prices, set by the breeders.

We’re delighted with the outcome of our first edition” says Janko van de Lageweg. We created a small yet strong collection, including some very special foals that normally would not have been offered in any other auction. Tonight quality prevailed over quantity”.

Fred van Lierop continues in behalf of Stal Tops We are happy with the outcome but it’s the happiness of the clients that make it rewarding. Combining the expertise of all partners in Trigon Auctions makes a good formula to advise investors in buying special foals. Our clients expect a high standard and many have followed our advise tonight and bought in complete confidence.”

This is an exciting start for our project and it is great to see that our judgement of the foals is met by the clients. Unfortunately not every bidder managed to secure a foal but the next collection will be presented in 2 weeks time on Thursday 13th of August and the bidding closes on Wednesday 19th of August from 20pm CEST. Expectations are high but after tonight we know that the Trigon mix works” adds Frederik De Backer.

Trigon Auctions insists on congratulating the buyers and the breeders as well as thanking all bidders that made the auction a great debut.
